Tin Foil

This project required us to react to a material. I chose tin foil (Yes I know I do not live in 1957, and these days it is called Aluminum foil...) I decided that rather than dealing with the surface texture or look of my material, that I would deal with human associations surrounding Tin foil. In that it is a material used in kitchens, and that it protects mainly from alien mind reading. These paintings are a series showing these two elements.
